How to enjoy iTunes videos and songs on Google Nexus 7

If you have gotten a large number of music and videos files from the iTunes store, and you want to enjoy them on your Nexus 7 tablet, the problem will occur. You can't play iTunes contents on your Google Nexus 7 directly. Here we provide you two parts to help you to transfer DRM-free iTunes files and DRM protected files from iTunes to Nexus 7.



Part 1: Transfer no-DRM protected videos and music to Nexus 7

Step 1: Set up your device

Launch this iTunes to Android transfer on your computer after installing it.  Then connect your Nexus 7 with computer via a USB cable or via WiFi (WiFi is only available in Windows version).


Step 2: Transfer files from iTunes to Nexus

If only transfer music, click "Import iTunes Playlists" button at the bottom of the primary window. When a window pops up, you can select audios you want to transfer to your device. Then click "OK" to start transferring music.

Part 2: Transfer DRM protected videos and music to Nexus 7


For some songs (like .m4p) and videos (.m4v) that you purchased from the iTunes store is protected by the DRM (digital rights management) protection. Even though, your iTunes files are DRM-Free, the iTunes file format is not compatible with Nexus tablet. the following guide will show you the easiest way to convert protected files to Nexus 7 compatible formats (If you don't need to convert file format or remove DRM, you can jump to the part 1 section.)

Step 1: import the iTunes files
Find the files where you have purchased from the iTunes store, just click the "Add" button to load the files that you want to convert to your Google tablet.

Step 2: Output configuration
When you are converting the audio files, just select the .mp3 as the output format from the "audio files to" drop down list. If the files you want to convert are videos, just choose .MP4 from the "video files to" > "Common Video". Don't forget to choose the right video resolution (1280*800 or smaller) through the "Settings" tab.

If the default output file folder is not convenient for you, just change the place from the "browse" button.

Step 3: Convert iTunes to Nexus 7 compatible file format
Now click the "Start" button to start converting iTunes files to Google Nexus 7. The converting speed depends on your computer performance and the file size. After the conversion is done, you can locate the converted files by clicking the "Find target" button quickly.
